Use your gifts to serve the church and world<\/h2>\n

The two-year master\u2019s programs at 好色先生TV are designed to educate and equip God\u2019s people who are called to a variety of vocations in the world and in the church.<\/p>\n

As an M.A. student, you will have the opportunity to study alongside other master’s-level students. Through such interactions, you will expand your understanding of your own concentration areas while gaining an appreciation of the gifts, callings, and vocations of your peers.<\/p>\n

M.A. Application<\/a><\/p>\n

Professional M.A. Programs<\/h2>\n

Lutheran Ministries – Deacon and Chaplain<\/h3>\n

Coursework grounds students in Lutheran theology and tradition and the implications for biblical interpretation and various forms of ministry. The\u00a0Lutheran Ministries Deacon Course Curriculum<\/a>\u00a0prepares ELCA candidates for rostered leadership in Word and Service ministry. The\u00a0Lutheran Ministries Chaplaincy Course Curriculum<\/a>\u00a0prepares ELCA deacon candidates specifically pursuing Associate Certified Chaplaincy. Both programs are also open to ecumenical students.<\/p>\n

Children, Youth, and Family Ministry<\/h3>\n

The Master of Arts in Children, Youth, and Family (CYF) Ministry provides students with academic courses, community discipleship, and ministry experience that leave students powerfully equipped to nurture and strengthen the faith of young people and their families with the gospel of Jesus Christ. All M.A. in CYF students are engaged in leadership in a contextual ministry site. Children, Youth and Family Concentration Course Curriculum<\/a><\/p>\n

Leadership and Innovation for Ministry<\/h3>\n

The Master of Arts in Leadership and Innovation for Ministry targets leaders who are interested in helping congregations, nonprofit organizations, social services ministries, and others innovate and change to be more responsive to changing needs and real-world opportunities. The learning will be practical, connected to a variety of ministry-related contexts in partnership with faculty, students, and local practitioners. Christian Ministry<\/h3>\n

The Master of Arts in Christian Ministry is a well-rounded, practical ministry degree that prepares students for Christian public leadership in a variety of contexts and roles, including leaders who are seeking or currently serving in lay and professional leadership roles within their church or denomination. Academic M.A. Programs<\/h2>\n

Bible<\/h3>\n

This program is intended as a course of study for those with a particular interest in both the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. It may serve as a springboard to further graduate studies or to use as an in-depth understanding for teaching in congregations. Bible Concentration Course Curriculum<\/a><\/p>\n

History of Christianity<\/h3>\n

This in-depth look at the historical aspects of the church helps provide context for understanding Christianity today.\u00a0History of Christianity Concentration Course Curriculum<\/a><\/p>\n

Justice and Reconciliation<\/h3>\n

This program explores a range of biblical, theological, and ecumenical perspectives in concert with philosophical and sociological approaches to justice and reconciliation. Justice and Reconciliation Concentration Course Curriculum<\/a><\/p>\n

Systematic Theology<\/h3>\n

This program helps students understand God\u2019s triune mission in the world from many diverse biblical and theological perspectives. Systematic Theology Concentration Course Curriculum<\/a><\/p>\n

Degree Requirements<\/span><\/p>\n

Master of Arts programs are designed to be completed in two years for full time students\u00a0and three years for part time students.<\/p>\n

Graduation requirements: a minimum of 14 courses\u00a0(16 courses for MA Lutheran Ministries)\u00a0including required courses in the signature, core and electives curriculum, as well as a capstone project.<\/p>\n
